Spay, Neuter and Other Reproductive Surgery for Dogs and Cats

We perform routine and complex spay surgeries to prevent unplanned pregnancies, reduce the risk of reproductive cancers, and support long-term health. This includes spays in young, mature, or high-risk patients.

Our neuter procedures remove both testicles under general anesthesia and are performed with attention to minimizing tissue trauma and promoting a smooth recovery. Dr. Ferraz can also perform a scrotal ablation if need is indicated.

In cases of retained testicles, we locate and surgically remove the undescended testicle(s) to prevent torsion or malignant transformation. Both abdominal and inguinal approaches are offered based on the individual patient.

We perform C-sections in cases of difficult labor, high-risk pregnancies, or brachycephalic breeds with a history of dystocia. Our goal is to support a safe delivery for both mother and puppies or kittens with minimal stress.

For patients experiencing obstructed labor, we provide surgical or manual intervention as needed, depending on the stage and severity of the case. We work closely with the attending veterinarian to determine the most appropriate course of action quickly and efficiently.
